Who we are

The U.S. Kempo And Jujitsu Federation (U.S.K.A.J.F.) is a small organization of martial artist who are dedicated to the study of realistic self-defense methods. The study is based on traditional martial arts. Our training involves teaching techniques that have been proven to be effective as a means of self-defense.

What we believe

We believe that the old masters developed deadly methods of combat based on an in-depth understanding of the acupuncture meridians. Because they understood these meridians, they developed a method of self-defense more efficient than those commonly taught in today's world. Unfortunately, very few of the master instructors teaching today have been taught these methods. As a result, martial artists are not able to duplicate the methods used by the old masters. This can be compared to a person having a set of mechanics tools. Just because he knows which tool is used, does not mean that he is a mechanic. Consider also that if you spend twenty years practicing techniques improves your technique but not your understanding of its original use. To put it in other words. If you spend twenty years practicing a move correctly you become very good at that move. However, if you practice the same move incorrectly, you become very good at doing the move incorrectly. In either case you still have not learned to use the move as the old masters did. We believe that to truly develop a method of self-defense, it is necessary to fully understand the relationship between the ancient techniques and the acupuncture meridians. This is difficult because there are very few that understand this relationship. There are even fewer are willing to teach this to others. We believe that it is our responsibility to study and teach this old knowledge.
